Return Policy

At AlAliGems Jewelry, every item is carefully inspected, documented, and securely packaged prior to shipment. Due to the nature of fine jewelry, gemstones, collectible pieces, handmade items, and one-of-a-kind inventory, all returns, refunds, exchanges, and claims are strictly governed by the terms below.

By placing an order with AlAliGems Jewelry, you acknowledge and agree to this Return & Refund Policy in full.

Return Window

Return requests must be submitted within fourteen (14) calendar days from the confirmed delivery date provided by the shipping carrier.

Returns requested outside of this timeframe will not be accepted.

Return Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a return, the item must:

- Be unused, unworn, and in original condition
- Be returned in the exact condition in which it was received
- Include all original packaging, inserts, certificates, gift materials, and accessories
- Show absolutely no signs of wear, use, resizing attempts, scratches, damage, alteration, polishing, cleaning attempts, fragrance exposure, water exposure, or misuse
- Be accompanied by proof of purchase or order confirmation

All returns are subject to inspection and approval solely at the discretion of AlAliGems Jewelry.

Items that do not meet return requirements will be rejected and returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

Final Sale & Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return, refund, exchange, or store credit under any circumstances:

- Tasbih / prayer beads
- Custom-made or personalized items
- Engraved or modified pieces
- Sale, clearance, promotional, discounted, or coupon-applied purchases
- Gift cards
- Items showing signs of wear, use, damage, alteration, resizing, or misuse
- Returns submitted outside the approved return window

Restocking Fee

All approved non-defective returns are subject to a mandatory 25% restocking fee.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Return Shipping Responsibility

Customers are fully responsible for all return shipping costs.

All returned merchandise must be shipped using a fully trackable and insured shipping service. AlAliGems Jewelry is not responsible for lost, stolen, delayed, misdelivered, or damaged return shipments.

Returns sent without tracking and insurance are solely at the customer’s risk.

Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items

Any claim involving damaged items, incorrect items, missing items, incomplete deliveries, or shipping-related concerns must be reported directly to AlAliGems Jewelry within forty-eight (48) hours of confirmed delivery.

Claims submitted after the 48-hour reporting window may be denied.

- Clear photographs of all packaging materials and shipping labels

Failure to provide sufficient documentation may result in claim denial.

Chargebacks, Payment Disputes & Third-Party Claims

Customers agree to contact AlAliGems Jewelry directly regarding any order-related concern before initiating a chargeback, payment dispute, claim, reversal, or complaint through Shopify, a payment processor, financial institution, credit card provider, or any third-party platform.

Failure to contact AlAliGems Jewelry directly prior to initiating an external dispute may impact claim eligibility and resolution review.

AlAliGems Jewelry reserves the right to provide order records, shipment confirmation, delivery confirmation, customer communication records, photographs, inspection documentation, and policy acceptance records to payment processors and financial institutions in response to disputes or chargebacks.

Fraudulent claims, abuse of the return system, false “item not received” claims, false damage claims, or attempts to retain merchandise while seeking reimbursement may result in denial of future service and formal dispute investigation.

Refund Processing

Refunds are issued only after returned merchandise has been received, inspected, and approved by AlAliGems Jewelry.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the customer’s financial institution.

If a returned item fails inspection or violates return requirements, the refund may be denied.

Exchanges

Exchanges are only permitted for items confirmed by AlAliGems Jewelry to have arrived defective or incorrect.

Exchange requests must be approved prior to returning merchandise.

Return Authorization Required

Do not mail returns without prior return authorization from AlAliGems Jewelry.

Unauthorized returns may be refused, rejected, or returned to sender without refund.
